To choose the Quatorial program is to favor a dynamic approach to perfecting language performance in speaking and writing situations. This program is practice-based using quasi -authentic situations.

A variety of sessions of different types are designed not only to help develop language accuracy but also to allow the participant to overcome inhibitions and to use the language eloquently in all situations. The overall aim is to turn the participant into an articulate English speaker and presenter.

The curriculum:

 • Language acquisition (Quatorial: group of 4)

the trainer works on and breaks down the main barriers to accurate communication (grammar structures, idioms, vocabulary and expressions).

 • Controlled practice (Quatorial: group of 4)

the language is put into practice with constant support and feedback. (Social talk, presentation, reporting, negotiation, telephoning and conference participation).

 • Performance practice (Workshop: up to 12 participants)

in the Spoken Performance Workshop participants give a full presentation or participate in a debate. Feedback and corrections are dealt with at the end or covered in the language acquisition and controlled practice sessions.

• Writing and reading competency (Quatorial: group of 4)

writing letters, reports, emails, presentations, articles.

• Listening with ease:

working in an English speaking environment participants are exposed at all times of the day to a listening comprehension effort. Formal exercises take place in morning and evening plenary sessions, in the workshops and in Quatorial lessons.

• Individual attention:

The Quatorial program includes one hour of Masterclass (teacher guided study).
Often participants choose to replace this with 1, 2 or 3 hours of Tutorial lessons which is time with a private tutor to work on individual language needs or specialist professional requirements.
